We are the Skellig Foundation

The Skellig Foundation plans to develop bold new educational and research programs in science, political science, and the arts. The Foundation is especially interested in linking with visionary individuals and Foundations in order to build and fund novel projects that will contribute to the long term sustainability of communities, and/or that will improve the general public’s appreciation of climate change, and its potential consequences on society. We are a registered charity in the Republic of Ireland.

A few things we do really well

ENABLE YOUNG PEOPLE TO DO MORE

Financially enable young scholars to attend existing workshops and courses of interest to the Foundation through Skellig Fellowship awards.

HOLD GATHERINGS TO SPARK INNOVATION

The Skellig Foundation has set out to improve the public understanding of these topics and to help scholars propose novel approaches that address these issues

IGNITE GREAT PROJECTS TO INSPIRE THE BOLD

We raise funding for workshop programmes enabling groups of young international scholars to exchange their knowledge, ideas and enthusiasm.

RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE

We are vocal advocates for a sustainable future with solutions to tackle climate change by marrying nature, science, and the arts across the world.
